James Bremmer, 75, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at his home in Hiles, WI. Jim was born June 17, 1944 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Gilbert and Beulah (Rossow) Bremmer. After High School Jim and his buddy took a 3000 mile bicycle trip from California to Alaska. When Jim came home he joined the U.S. Army. Jim married his first wife Kathy and had a daughter Heather, later they divorced. He then married Carol Mutza in 1975 in Milwaukee. They later moved to Racine, then up north to Hiles where Jim worked in a Body Shop and then at Ted Roberts Lumber Mill. Surviving Jim is his wife of 45 years, Carol Bremmer; daughters, Heather Schmoldt, Waukesha; Ann (Jake) Hairapetian, Shawano; sons, Larry Bremmer, Rhinelander; Alan Bremmer, Racine; grandchildren, Kendall, Emily, and Jacob; sisters, Ardell (Henry) Plasil, Rib Lake; Judy (Tim) Dereszynski, Franklin; Marlene (Dickie) Polka, Milwaukee; brothers, Gary Bremmer, Pearson and David Bremmer, Milwaukee. Jim is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronnie Bremmer. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
