Name: Marjorie Chaney Date: January 16th, 1922 - July 18th, 2010 Obituary: Marjorie A. Chaney, age 88, of Crandon, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the AGI Healthcare Center, Crandon. She was born January 16, 1922 in Crandon the daughter of the late Ren and Stella (Smith) Marvin. Marjorie married Garland Chaney in Crandon on March 5, 1945; he preceded her in death on October 16, 1987. She worked at the Northernaire Supper Club for 20 years and went to work at Bemis in Crandon for 17 years. Marjorie retired in 1984, but was still a hard worker and kept busy in her retirement. She enjoyed picking berries, feeding her birds, shoveling snow, puzzle books and Yahtzee. Marjorie’s most enjoyable times were spent with here family; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed. She is survived by: Sons: William (Mae) Chaney, Crandon Robert (Marianne) Chaney, Crandon Grandchildren: Kimberly (Curt) Klemann, Kelly (Chris) Bauknecht, Keith (Melinda) Chaney, Joseph (Rose) Chaney, Jennifer (John) Ball, Becki (David) Cichanowicz and Thomas Chaney. 8 great-grandchildren Sister: Shirley Oldham, Rhinelander Brother: Max (Janet) Marvin, Park Falls Honorary Pallbearers: Keith, Joseph and Thomas Chaney, Lucas Klemann, Cody Bauknecht and Wyatt Chaney. Preceded in death by her parents; Ren and Stella, husband; Garland, sisters; Arlene Hagelin, Nita Colburn and Zola McFarlan and brothers; Don, Leo, Bill and Dick. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Don Dewing officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the Crandon Lakeside Cemetery. Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon is assisting the family with the arrangements.
