Rex A. Prilliman, age 73, of Townsend, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at the Langlade Hospital, Antigo. He was born, June 25, 1936, and raised in North Central Oklahoma.
Rex was married July 13, 1958 to Judy Lutes. He served in the US Army from January 13, 1959 to January 13, 1961. Rex completed college in May 1963. After graduation, he began a 28 year career teaching Sheet Metal and Welding at the South Division High School in Milwaukee, WI. Rex retired in 1992 and in 1995, Judy and he moved to Townsend.
Rex was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend, former Trustee for the church and a member of 3 Bible Study Groups. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking/carpentry, woodcarving, playing schaffskopf (sheepshead), traveling and outdoor cooking for groups. Rex will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy, Townsend

Grandsons: Ethan and Henry Vitrano

Brothers: Joseph A. Prilliman, Lamont, Oklahoma
Lewis A. (Joyce) Prilliman, Grass Valley, California
Preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Myrtle
Memorials appreciated to the St. John’s Organ Fund.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 30 from 9-11:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church, Townsend. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Steven Mueller officiating.
