LaDu, Jr., age 60, of Laona, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rhinelander. He was born March 8, 1950 in Green Bay the son of Gilbert and Irene (Krause) LaDu, Sr. Gilbert married his companion of 18 years, Janice Winkler; on April 9, 2010. He enjoyed going to auctions, morning coffee at the Clubhouse, his trucks (semis) and spending time with his family and friends. Gilbert will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Janice Daughters: Sandra (Mitch) LaDu-Ives, Rhinelander Pam Winkler, Hiles Kaitlyn Clark, Wabeno Son: Christipher (Chloe) Winkler, Appleton Grandchildren: Christina, Mitchell, Cassidy, Sierra, Tony, Max and Ryker Special Aunt and Uncle: Betty (John) Angelo Special Friends: Joe (Annie) Krause Further survived by his K-9 companion, Jody Visitation will be on Friday, April 16 from 4-8:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 17 from 9-10:00 a.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon.
