Name: Delores Geske Date: January 22nd, 1926 - March 20th, 2010 Obituary: Delores M. Geske, age 84, of Crandon, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 20, 2010. She was born January 22, 1926 in Crandon the daughter of the late John and Matilda (Peterson) Gretzinger. Delores married William “Bill” Wilson on May 1, 1945; he preceded her in death on May 27, 1977. On October 4, 1980, she married Louis Geske at the Courthouse in Crandon; he preceded her in death on August 23, 2003. Through life, Delores was involved in many things such as: The Range Line Club, Argonne Homemakers Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary, Community Life Counsel, United Methodist Women, Crandon Women’s Club and a longtime member of St. Luke’s Methodist Church; just to name a few. She enjoyed going to the cabin, playing cards and watching Packer games, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Delores especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and will be remembered for her caring personality. Great-Grandchildren: Kayla, Lindsay, Lauren, Peyton, Tucker, Kelsey, Kaden, Kylee, Blake, Nolan, Wyatt, Walker and Reid. Sister: Ruth Brownell, Wisconsin Rapids, WI Brothers: Frank (Marge) Gretzinger, Shawano Bill Gretzinger, Waukesha Sister-in-law: Marcella Gretzinger, Spring, TX Step-children: Jim Geske, Crandon Barb (John) Nitecki, Brillion, WI Honoring Delores as pallbearers will be her grandsons; Ryan, Chad, Trent, Chris, Brian and Eric Wilson. Preceded in death by her parents; John and Matilda, husbands; Bill and Louis, grandson; Mathew Lee Wilson, sisters; Dorothy Keller, Ann Sipple and Matilda Plummer, brothers; Roy, Earl and John and step-daughter; Marlene. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 24 from 4-8:00 p.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon and again on Thursday, March 25 from 10-11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, Crandon. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marvin Singh officiating. Interment will be in the Crandon Lakeside Cemetery.
