Name: Margaret "Marge" Jakubiec Date: March 23rd, 1928 - January 31st, 2010 Obituary: Margaret Mary “Marge” Jakubiec, age 82, of Armstrong Creek, WI passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital. Marge was born March 23, 1928 in Wausau the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Gajewski) Przybocki. She moved to Armstrong Creek and has lived their all of her life. On June 17, 1944 at Armstrong Creek she married Anthony Jakubiec. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1990. Through life, Marge was employed at Goodman Red Owl in the meat dept. for 20 years; when the Red Owl closed she went to work for Wysocki Veneer Mill and at the Corner Store. Marge also did a lot of cooking for weddings, graduations, funerals, picnics and birthdays. She enjoyed relaxing, crocheting afghans and reading. She is survived by: Daughter: Marlene (Butch) Kieta, Fence, WI Sons: Martin (Sue) Jakubiec, Stiles, WI Tony (Dawn) Jakubiec, Wabeno, WI Sisters: Louise Mikolajczyk, Armstrong Creek, Elizabeth Kowalkowski, Armstrong Creek Further survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren In addition to her husband, Anthony she is also preceded in death by her parents, Martin & Mary and 3 sisters, Regina, Pearl and Frances. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek. Funeral mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Monsignor Paul Koszarek officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Armstrong Creek.
