Gordon Edward Gerald, age 71, of Crandon, passed into heaven in the arms of his wife and daughter on July 24, 2009. He was born in Crandon on October 2, 1937 to Sylvester and Mabel (Radtke) Gerald.
Gordon married Sharon Weber/Deere on July 7, 1989 in Crandon. Gordon worked 15 years at Crandon Motor Company as a bodyman. He completed his working career at Ison Equipment (Monico) after 30 years. Gordon loved camping, traveling, his flowers, Christmas decorating, cars of the past and present and especially family time.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Sharon; children Galenda (Dick) Gilson; Curt (Chris) Gerald; Bill (Deb) Deere; Sherrie Rose; Cindy (Denny) Johnson and Lorrie Tober, grandchildren; Jamie (Karin) and Jed Gilson; Kylene (Joe) LaRock; Cara, Matt and Megan Gerald; Ashley (Dan) VandenHeuvel; Bill (Melody) and Bob (Ann) Deere; Christopher and Jared Rose and Angela Voit; Bill and Brad Johnson; Jeff and Doug Tober and 13 great grandchildren; brothers Clifford (Vera); Arnold (Sandra); sisters; Ruby Leih and Patsy Gerald, and extended Radtke, Kulaf and Weber families.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; Galenda and Curt’s mother Shirley (Bingham/Kulaf); brother Ervin and several in-laws.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Weber-Hill Funeral Home in Crandon. Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Farr officiating.
